What a great way to finish off a steel basement post!
...or a square 4x4 porch post!

Rid your basement of those steel posts and place a log over them!

Made from a Kiln Dried Pine that will arrive to you in two separated halves. Each has cut-outs for hardwood biscuits that can be assembled together with wood glue and the use of cloth-ribbon ratchet style strap clamps to close the posts up until the glue cures. Usually over night based on the wood glue used.

Each post cover is 8' long and will cover a 4.25" square post or a 4.5" round post on the inside (hollow part) of the post cover. The outside diameter is 9.5". All have a hand-hewn surface (draw knife effect).

These post-covers were used on the "ManCaves" TV Show on the DIY Channel and have been a hit ever since!

Shipping
 is provided by Fed-Ex Freightways or XPO Logistics. Our company ships large quantities daily with each carrier and our shipping discounts are passed on to you the customer! Please call for more info and a detailed pricing quote if you have additional questions. (800-818-9971)

 

Each order
 that is shipped by our carriers will take about 2-4 weeks to have your corners pulled, packaged & then shipped. You will be provided with a tracking number at shipment so that you can get an idea of when your shipment will be arriving.
Freight Shipments are by small enclosed semi-trucks, most residential deliveries will be to the end of your driveway at roadside. If your street/driveway is winding through the woods, not snow plowed or is unaccessible for the freight truck, your delivery might be to the nearest point of access. You can also set up off-loading with a local lumber yard in some cases. Another option is to pick your package(s) up at the local Fed-Ex Terminal by pick-up truck or trailer. Please note this on your order.

 

You must be able to off-load the material in a timely manner and would require that you have adequate/able bodies on-hand (2) to hand unload if a fork lift was not available at your delivery location. The drivers have many other destinations, so your cooperation is very helpful.

 

Damages?
Each driver is aware of the packages and the condition of each as you off-load. In the unlikely event that you notice any apparent damage, have the damages noted on the delivery receipt by the driver before he leaves and call The Log Home Shoppe/The Woodworkers Shoppe immediately to have your replacements sent out and to have the claim processed. You must do so within 10 days of receipt of the materials.
